Hookworm – Related cutaneous larva migrans: Case report

Hookworm-related cutaneous larva migrans is caused by the intradermal migration of soil-dwelling filariform larvae dog and cat hookworms, most commonly Ancylostoma, usually develop itchy skin lesions, consisting migrating superficial serpiginous traces, or sometimes stationary follicular eruptions. The plantar topography on regions body in contact with sand beaches Antilles, West Africa East Asia, presence fine not very mobile furrows eczematization vesiculobullous eruption, are characteristic. There misleading profuse forms such as pseudo-folliculitis. We present a Moroccan patient who developed disease after their return from responded well to treatment albendazole.
